First of all, you need to be registered to have a profile. If you are viewing this and are not registered,
Once you're registered and logged in, you'll notice that you now have a "User Menu" in the left. Click on the "View Profile" link. This will take you to your profile page.
Just above your profile, you'll see the "Edit" and "NazBoard Buddies" menu links (below the New Members block).
If you hover your mouse over the "Edit" link, you'll be offered three choices: "Update Your Profile", "Update Your Photo", and "Remove Your Photo".
Clicking the "Update Your Profile" link will allow you to edit several fields. Many were not answered at the time you registered, so make sure you go there to add your information. Note: Any fields that are left empty will not show on your profile.
There are also some fields for configuring the settings of your photo gallery, message board options and guest book behaviors.
Clicking the "Update Your Photo" will allow you to add or replace your profile photo. Make sure that this is done for those people that "know the name, but they just can't see the face!"
If you want to simply remove your photo, click the "Remove Your Photo" link.
Under the "NazBoard Buddies" menu, you will be able to "Manage Your Buddies". This allows you to organize your buddies into groups, as well as remove them, view their profile, send them an email, send them a private message and make any comments about them (which they will not be able to view).
Going back out to the "View Profile" page, you can manage your photo gallery by clicking on the "Photo Gallery" tab. There you will see a link that says "Submit a New Gallery Entry". Just click this link and it will show you an upload photo form. Enter the title and description of the photo, then click the "Browse..." button to find a photo on your computer to upload. Once this is done, click the "Submit Gallery Entry" to upload the file and insert the photo into your gallery.
For photos that are currently in your gallery, you'll see two pictures underneath them. The first, which looks like a trash can, is to delete the photo. The second, which looks like a file folder with a globe in front of it allows you to "Unpublish" the photo, which removes it from the public view, but does not fully remove it from your gallery. You may "Publish" the photo again at a later date if you choose.
The current quota is 1 MB limit for all photos, 10 photo limit, 250 KB limit per photo.
If you have any other questions about updating or configuring your profile, reply to this topic, and I'll try to answer them as best and as fast as I can!
** New Feature Added**
You can now edit your profile URL! By default, your profile URL will be
http://www.nazboard.com/USERNAME, you can change it to whatever you want. It may be wise to keep the same URL after you start sharing it with others, though. That way, they do not receive an error when they try to view your page.
