Hello, Church of the Nazarene, and welcome to NazBoard, the Ultimate Nazarene Community!
These days, it's hard to find a safe haven to meet at online! MySpace is the most popular community website, but there are so many people that abuse the system that it's hardly worth joining.
Nazboard was created strictly for the Church of the Nazarene and its community. Mike Cotton, the creator and moderator of NazBoard is a third generation Nazarene and also happens to be a web designer. He was turned on to the idea of creating a community site when he found out that his own high school had a site just for alumni. It was set up much like MySpace in where you could set up your own profile, connect with old friends, leave messages, share pictures, and discuss different topics.
He searched around for a similar site for his college, Southern Nazarene University, but couldn't find anything. He decided to do something about it!
He started working on a site that incorporated many of the same features that his High School Alumni site had. As he got further into the project, he thought he'd broaden the scope a bit. He thought, "What about the Youth and Kids that want a place to chat with friends? I could also incorporate them, too!" That's when NazBoard was born! To get started, you need to register your profile. Once you've confirmed your email address, browse around he site and see what you can find. Being that this site is brand new, there might not be many people on it. We've given you an opportunity to invite your friends and family to join the site as well. Help the site grow! Thanks for visiting and enjoy the experience!
