Hi,
About 18 months ago I retired after 35 yrs. in the ministry in the COTN at the age of 62 yrs. I proceeded then to have 6 surgeries due to wear and tear on my skeleton in Vietnam, including times when my helocopter was shot down.
I have been selected by its near 900 members to be the Chaplain of the Indiana's largest DAV (Disabled American Veteran's) chapter.
I am conservative theologically, forward thinking about church growth, politically very conservative, and a patriot of our great nation.
I am married (43 yrs.) to Virginia. We have two daughters. Our oldest is married to a Nazarene pastor in Ohio and the mother of our two beautiful granddaughters. Our youngest is married to a Navy Chaplain stationed in Washington State at this time.
We have planned a trip in the near future via AMTRAC to the base of our youngest and her husband. We'll fly back home.
My mother, father, and one of my two brothers, as well as a boy that did not live very long after birth, are with Christ today.
And I am glad to be free from buildinds, boards, budgets and district politics. I am finding retirement a time of wonderful freedom.
